How God Clothes The Grass August 6, 2010

Road Side Flowers

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” (Jesus of Nazareth, Matthew 6:28-29)

These aren’t lilies, but they are beautiful. This Louisa County hillside is decked out in Yellow Cone Flowers, white Queen Anne’s Lace, and Blue Vervain. The first and the last are native prairie flowers.
