Bobcats! January 8, 2010

Aren’t these little guys cute?

Yeah, but you wouldn’t want to take them home. They’re Bobcat kittens that were born in the spring of 2007 here in Louisa County. Bobcats are about the twice the size of a domestic cat and not at all cuddly. They tend to stay away from people, but these guys were too young to run away.

This next appears to be their mother. It was taken the same spring.

At least one of the cats is still in the area, as this picture that was taken with a trail-cam shows.
